Informed Sport Certification

Every batch of MitoQ is Informed Sport certified. This means that all our products are tested for banned substances – so that MitoQ-powered athletes can train and compete knowing that they are being supported by a high-quality mitochondrial supplement. Informed Sport is an international quality assurance program that tests products for substances that are banned from sports. All MitoQ supplements go through a detailed pre and post-certification process: making them safer for athletes to consume.

NZ FernMark Licensee

Our supplements are all licensed by FernMark. Becoming a FernMark Licensee means we’ve met all the eligibility criteria, which includes being GST registered in NZ, having a substantial level of New Zealand ownership, governance and employees and having exported for at least 12 months. The criteria also requires that our products are made, grown or designed in New Zealand, which is why the New Zealand Government is happy for our products to represent New Zealand around the world.

RMP Registered – MitoQ Joint

Our Joint supplement product is processed under the scope of an RMP - Risk Management Program. RMPs are designed to ensure that animal products are safely managed, and the risk and hazard factors assessed based on the principles of HACCP. Because our MitoQ Joint supplement contains animal products (green lip mussel extract), a RMP is followed to ensure that the processing of these products meets the standards set out in the Animal Products Act 1999.
