With a raise of hands who is feeling the signs of aging?? I swear every time I look in the mirror I see more grey hairs popping up! This getting old, business is for the birds! I am not a fan! Who’s with me?! I wish I could boycott getting old; but apparently it has to happen…Some law of nature that really is just not fair.

But as much as I have to admit how much I hate getting old… it does have its perks! I pay way less for car insurance, and I have heck of a lot more money in my bank account AND I am way more secure! At this point in my life I am very comfortable in my own skin! That has taken a long while. And getting older has helped with that!

Now for the fun part… Yes we are getting older! But what can we do about it to feel YOUNGER and more ALIVE?!?

Here are 7 sure fire ways to feel younger!

1. Get your SLEEP!

A body that is rested properly has more energy and vitality. Aim for 8 hours every night! For tips on that check out this post.

2. Eat CLEAN

It’s amazing how energized you will feel after a couple weeks of skipping processed garbage and eating healthy whole foods. That alone will take off 10 years! Whenever I start to feel sluggish and crappy it typically has to do with how I have been eating… As much I wish I could just eat cake all the time.

3. Take time to PLAY!

I want you to honestly ask yourself when the last time you actually let go and just played??? I bet its been a bit! This past weekend I went to a bloggers conference and the wrap up party involved dancing… They’re is something completely freeing about dancing your boo-tay off and not caring a dang thing about what others think. I’m pretty sure there were some who thought I was three sheets to the wind But who cares I had the time of my LIFE! And I felt like a wild teenager again, it was liberating.

4. Exercise

This one should not come as a surprise since I pretty evangelical about the need to exercise. Exercising will help keep your heart healthy and help decrease stress and give you a much needed mood boost… But here is the caveat; you must pick something you love! If you hate running and dread it – don’t do it! Pick something you love and brings you happiness whatever it is!

5. TREAT Yo’ Self

Pampering yourself and taking time for you will help you feel rejuvenated and help recharge your batteries! Bonus points for a fabulous facial! Which is a great way to keep your skin looking younger.

6. Be Positive

Age is way more about how we feel than an actual number! The more positive and hopeful we are the brighter we shine. We’ve all met that one person who looks 20 years older just because they are sooo negative! Don’t be that person!
