1. Can I still place an order?
MitoQ is still operating.
2. Are delivery times affected?
It is likely that delays in deliveries may occur, depending on the operations of certain couriers that help us deliver your order to you. We will try our best to communicate any changes that may affect your order in anyway.
We encourage our customers to check their country’s guidelines online to see whether couriers are delivering to your country and if you have any questions, please do get in touch with our Customer Service Team.
3. What precautions are MitoQ taking to keep my orders safe?
Your safety is very important to us. We are taking extra precautions and working with our distributors to do the same.
NZ Distribution Centre:
Our staff wear masks and gloves when processing your orders. All orders are sanitized and couriers are required to wear gloves and sanitize before pickup. Dispatch areas are also sanitized after each collection and we have added additional sanitizing services on top of our regular cleaning services.
USA Distribution Centres:
Providing and distributing personnel protection equipment such as hand sanitizer, masks, gloves, and disinfectant products to all employees. Sharing best practices to prevent the spread of the illness. Team members required to wash their hands regularly and avoid touching their mouth, eyes, or nose. To reinforce the washing of hands, visible signs are placed in all public spaces. Increased the frequency of routine cleaning and disinfection of all frequently touched surfaces in the workplace, such as workstations, countertops, doorknobs, and restrooms. Stay-at-home precautions in place for all employees suffering from illness.
UK Distribution Centres:
Working areas disinfected regularly throughout the day. Increased measures of personal care including distancing of staff, requirements to wash regularly and protective gear.
4. Is it safe to receive orders?
The likelihood of an infected person contaminating commercial goods is low and the risk of catching the virus that causes COVID-19 from a package that has been moved, traveled, and exposed to different conditions and temperature is also low.
5. Is it possible to reduce contact with the driver when they deliver my order?
Yes. Delivery companies are expected to take extra measures to ensure safety for those receiving parcels, such as not requiring a signature upon delivery.
6. Can I return my order?
Yes. If you have been notified that your order will not be delivered to you due to certain restrictions, please get in touch with our Customer Service Team who will be more than happy to assist.
7. Does MitoQ help with COVID-19?
MitoQ is not a cure or protection against viruses like COVID-19. We believe that it’s important to support your cellular health in order to help optimize your overall health at any time.
Supporting your mitochondrial health helps many of your body’s functions, including its natural defense and response mechanisms, all of which are essential for ongoing everyday energy, vitality and health.
“In this time of new viruses, we need to have our defensive walls against infection strong and our warriors primed to fight infection if needed,” says Dr Mark Menolascino, Medical Director of the Meno Clinic – Center for Functional Medicine. “Unlike bacterial infections (for which you can take an antibiotic), there is no quick cure medication for viruses. They just hang on and on until your body can finally fight them off or they’ve done more damage.”
Dr Menolascino adds some important tools to help your immune system health:
- Take precautions to avoid infection, such as washing your hands frequently
- Eat a diet high in fruits and vegetables
- Exercise and don’t smoke
- If you drink alcohol, drink only in moderation
- Get adequate sleep
